The kids were a tad restless today
(& maybe me too) &
my mom was feeling down so we picked her up & went to
Partyland next to her house. We had a lot of fun- got the wiggles out & brightened Grandma's day.
Syd liked the princess hat & Rob wears his Confederate soldier hat like a gangster.
Even grandma & I got in on hat wearing action. I got stuck with the frumpy pioneer hat, while my mom rocked the cowgirl princess hat.
The kids pretended to drive the car around & run over grandma. They thought it was hilarious.
Sydney is smiling in this picture but she was in fact afraid of the
Presidential mask. Berto called it a
"mons-mer" mask & I have to say his teeth & eyes look freaky.
Grandma got cozy with a brooding
"New Moon" Edward (she thought it was very funny & I think I've found the perfect Christmas gift for her!)

ReplyDeleteI love those kinds of stores, and so do my kids. You don't even have to spend money to have fun, but the store would appreciate it if you did.
