National Novel Writing Month Update

So, NaNoWriMo is in full swing. I went last night & wrote at the library. Then went to Barnes&Noble, wrote some more, & then rewarded myself with a yum hot coco.

I wasn't sure about it at first, but I love the NaNo website. They have a handy way to track your word count.

According to the graph I have about 4,000 words to write tonight. Luckily Scott has a "guys night out" tonight so once the kids are in bed I'm writing (& tomorrow morning I'm going to have a little writing marathon at the library) Wish me luck!

  4. I'm 6,000 words in, only 8,000 behind my daily word count goal, BUT I didn't officially start until the 5th, so I think I am doing okay.

I hope you get better soon!

  8. So how come you have to keep up to a certain word count? Do you have a deadline? How did you do?

  9. Cindy- It just helps you so that you spread it out over the month. I still have until the 30th. So, I'm trudging along slowly.
