Clumsy Carter


ME: "Hey, Syd if we have another baby would you want it to be a girl or boy?"
SYD: "A boy. So Rob has someone to play with."
(basically so Rob will leave her alone)
ME: "Rob would like that."
SYD: "And we should name him Clumsy."
ME: "Clumsy Carter? I don't think we can name him that."
SYD: "I know, I know. It's a girls name."

Yeah, because that's the problem I have with Clumsy Carter.

    dang it, syd wasn't supposed to tell anyone thats our secret backup name. you know, in case the baby looks more like a Clumsy than a Natalie. Haha, Syd is such a character (and me saying she is a character makes me feel like a senior citizen)

    actually, in the south you COULD name a son Clem C Carter---and with a good backwoods accent---he would TOTALLY be clumsy Carter!
