A Happy Sunday

We spent a wonderful Sabbath evening hanging out with Em, Russ & lil' baby Mirian. The kids were just smitten with her. Kisses galore!


I also made a homemade peach pie. A couple days ago we went to a fruit stand to get some lovely local peaches.

This time I thought I'd try out candied walnuts on top (the recipe called for pecans but we didn't have any).

It was actually really good and a nice little end-of-summer-almost-fall treat!

    Wow, now I want a fresh peach pie. I used to go to that fruit stand years ago. I love the pictures of all the cutest grand kids in the world. Can't wait until they all get to come to Gabba Camp..yippee

    Those look GREAT! I made a peach pie yesterday but it didn't look quite this fancy... yours looks yummmy!
