Thrift Store Prizes I Passed Up

Yesterday while the kids were at "preschool" with Esther so I had a lunch date with Scott, wrote at Borders, & visited the local thrift store.

After browsing, I seriously considered getting this lovely...

And I kind of regret not getting it because it's all sorts of groovy.

However, I did not seriously consider getting this one...

Because it's just scary & we already have one slightly possessed fluffy cat in our house.

    "My horn can pierce the sky!" ha ha. I think I might just look up a cross stitch tutorial online and make that "God Bless our Pad" sign. Totally love it, and am very disappointed in you for passing it up! :)

    I do love the God Bless Our Pad sign too. Thrift Shopping is what I need to do. You sure can find some interesting things.~Debbee~

    OH man, aren't those unicorn posters (and a plethora like them) just hilariously awful? I always wonder who thought it was a good idea to buy them in the first place? Soooo tacky!
