This reminds me of a stuffed animal I made for my (slightly-morbid) brother-in-law once. It was a cat, which I cut opened and removed most of the stuffing from, and then I made little kitty organs from felt and stuffed them in their proper places inside. You could velcro it closed again so it looked normal, or open it up and leave its entrails dragging. He loved it. We called it the gore cat and I still think we should market it.
Not morbid at all! The want the third one for my boys' room.
