Visiting my mom for Valentines Day

On Friday Rob & I went to pick flowers to take for our Sunday visit to the cemetery. The little cutie picked purple ones (my mom's favorite).

Then today the kids enjoyed coloring hearts for Valentines (& attaching kabob skewers so they could poke in the ground) to take & put on my mom's grave.

Already spiritually uplifted from church, plus absolutely GORGEOUS weather outside made for a lovely visit.

    Such a great idea. My children and I do something similar at my grandparents grave.
    Always nice to be able to involve the kids in such a way.
