Gorgeous Covers

I have noticed a slew of 2011 (except Brodi Ashton's EVERNEATH which comes out in 2012) books with gorgeous covers featuring girls, flowy hair, pretty dresses, and no faces.


1. Imaginary Girls 2. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer 3. Hourglass
4. Anna Dressed in Blood 5. Carrier of the Mark 6. Everneath

Normally I'm not a "person"-on-the-cover-of-a-book fan (it can go terribly wrong) but I can totally get behind this kind of loveliness.

I haven't read any of them so I can't attest to how good the books are BUT if a cover is any indication to the awesome-ness of a book, these win! I'm especially digging the top row.

What do you guys think?

    I dont read so take this for what its worth but the no face thing kind of freaks me out a little... its a little on the creepy side, but like I said... that last book I read was probably in our dorm when we were rockin' out a heritage halls =)

    It does seem to go in a trend just like the themes and topics. I love seeing a fun collection together though.

    I read HOURGLASS and it was pretty good, (certain parts better than others, to me overall well done) and the others are on my to-read. Let me know if you want to borrow it.
