New News

We just wanted to share an exciting secret with you all:

Yup, we're expecting Baby Carter #3!

How am I feeling? I'm feeling better. The lack of blogging has been in large part to me feeling a little nauseous, a little hormonally depressed, & a lot tired. But the last week I've been feeling semi-alive again- FINALLY!

When am I due? I'm about 18 weeks along, so the end of February. I've learned that I don't do well with due dates. They make me antsy & a little crazy. So, then end-ish of February it is!

Is it a boy or a girl? We don't have that ultrasound until next week but we're actually not going to find out this time. We have one of each, stuff for either, & we're happy to wait and see.

We're ecstatic & cannot wait for this newest addition to the Carter Clan!

P.S. This news might also explain a couple posts over the past few months- like about baby blankets, potential baby names, & food cravings.

  27. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! SO excited for you lady!! I'm sorry you've been feeling so awful, (I can relate on every single symptom/side effect you mentioned, hence MY lack of blog posts), but I'm so stinking excited for you!! The Carter family is a great one to get sent to, so that'll be a lucky little one. (And, ps, I know people do this all the time- "I knew you were pregnant"-- and it's kind of annoying, but, I really did think you were way back when you posted about your mac n cheese cravings (probably because I was going through similar stuff) and I've been wondering ever since. So, thanks for confirming! (PS, our babies will probably be a week apart or so, both Katy and I have babies due on V-Day.)
