Today was Sydney's 6th birthday- oh, that child, how I adore her! We aren't having her party until Saturday, but that didn't stop us from party-hartying today.
I wanted to do something special for her class other than just giving out a bunch of treats. Syd & I talked about it and decided we'd donate a book to her class. We looked around and settled on:
So, for treat Rob, Linc, & I headed over to the Provo Bakery to get doughnuts to go along with the book. Syd had a blast handing everyone their treats & rocking her stylin' birthday crown.
For lunch we met up with Scott & took Syd out for her favorite meal- sushi. Yes, my 6 year old loves sushi, the whole family does. When Linc grows some teeth he better get on board too.

Woot! Happy Birthday, Syd!!
ReplyDeleteNot only does she loves sushi...she can eat with chop sticks. What a girl! Sure love her to pieces. What a fun day.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a fun family! I'm totally jealous. <3 sushi!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Sydney! I love the book idea.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea giving the class a book. Blaise LOVES the "if you give" books. I made doughnuts for breakfast the other day and he made up his own "if you give a Blaise a doughnut" story - it was fun. Now I'm hungry for doughnuts.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Sydney!
So I think I wrote her birthday wrong on my calendar. We will try to call sometime today. Love that girl!
ReplyDeleteI think I was over there the whole day without telling that girl happy birthday! Gosh dang it.
