Hairdresser Preschool

I've been doing "Home Preschool" with Esther & Robby for a while now. I don't blog about it often because, frankly you guys aren't too interested in the stuff we do week to week. But we started a section on professions & today's subject was HAIRDRESSERS.

We had such a fun time I wanted to share with you some of the highlights of the lesson.

We played hairdresser (huge hit):

I printed out a picture of them & then made a bunch of funny hairstyles out of construction paper for them to put on themselves:

Painted with combs, looked at pictures from when they got haircuts, & then cut yarn ponytails:

And the "piece de resistance" getting out the Halloween spray dye & dying the kids hair green:

  1. And I was proud of myself that I cut a piece of construction paper, folded it in half, had them put stickers on it and sent the "card" and a picture to their cousins today. You put the rest of us to shame!

  5. You are so creative Olive! I pay good money to send Reagan to preschool because I dont have the brainpower or the patience to do stuff like that at home. Only bad thing is that I dont even know that they are that creative at her school. Your a great mommmy!!!
