Can you believe it's been 3 years?!
And this year has been fun of all manner of FUN: little moments of bliss, favorite recipes, some romance, quiet moments & crazy ones (or two), some pick-me-ups, birthday bashs, writing, commiseration, and lots about my favorite people & things.
And you've been with me for every crazy adventure!

One of my favorite things is coming home from a long bike ride, all sweaty and smelly and covered with grit from the trail, and stepping into a cool shower to clean up, emerging smelling and feeling fresh again. Oh Livie! I have loved you for much longer than I've loved for blog. For that reason, I say one of my favorite things is a friend who sticks by you no matter how many times you flake out, forget birthdays and anniversaries, get distracted or owe her money. ReplyDeleteI am writing to you all the way from Tasmania (Australia) .... please tell me - is there anyone out there further away than I??? So I know I am probably not eligible for your contest but I am going to share with you a recent favourite moment from one of my absolute favourite little people....
Yesterday my son Flynn (2) and I were watching tv and his absolute fav show of Charlie and Lola (do you guys get that show in the states - it is awesome and my kids love it!!) came on and because our stereo system is a dud the volume was really low so being the good Mumma I am I turned it up REAL loud so Flynn could hear....and all of a sudden BOOM - out came Charlie and Lola very loudly!! It scared both of us so much we jumped, looked at each other and then just lost it and laughed so hard I was crying and Flynn nearly fell off our sofa!!
It was one of those unforgettable awesome moments that I will not forget.
It was made even more special by Flynn trying to relay the story to his Dadda and sister Sofia at the dinner table....this is how the conversation went....Mumma, Dynn (as he calls himself), Charlie Lola, loud, laugh....Mumma and Dynn laugh and it was followed by the loudest chuckle from my gorgeous little boy!!
So there - my favourite moment from one of my favourite people sent to you - my favourite blogger!!
Congrat's on your 3 years blogging Olivia....I will continue to stalk from afar!!!

3 years wow.. I'm almost there but probably have 1/10 of the posts as you :) My favorite thing right now is that while grocery shopping a girl approached me and asked if i needed any baby food. She has WIC and got too much. I came home with enough baby food to last Mayan about 3 months. Gotta love much needed blessings :)
