Those of you that follow me on Twitter or Facebook might have seen my post about having a "no good, very bad day". Nothing major... just one of those days.
I'm not one to allow myself to wallow so I decided to make something that would cheer not only me up, but Syd & Rob who catch my emotions (I also hinted at what cured my blues on Twitter/FB too)
Here's a little hint for you...
A ball pit on the landing of ours stairs!!!
Oh the joy we had. Jumping, leaping, bumping, & throwing.
I had to make a little net out of half a roll of masking tape to keep them up there & used all my lung capacity to fill up all those balloons...
But it definitely turned a "yicky yucky blah" day into a "fun fabulous very good" day!

That's exactly why you will raise my children. I would never think to build a ball pit and even if I did think of it, I wouldn't follow through. You're awesome.
Looks Very VERY fun! Great idea!
You are an awesome mom! :)
I might have to steal this idea sometime this week. Love it!
You rock! So jealous. When I'm having a terrible no good day my brain shuts down and I'm grumpy. I can barely function little lone (is that the way to spell that phrase, I think not) come up with hilariously fun ideas.
Ah! So awesome! I totally want to do this! Except it would just be me because Baby Boots is only 9 months and it would probably be a hazard. Hahaha.
Can I come and play at your house? That is so cool! You totally rock! That is why you are my sis-in-law!!!!
You are such a cute Mom. I like that you take matters into your own hands: Bad mood? Hmmm? I think I shall make a balloon ball pit!
Ps: Your VERY OWN theater?! You are a genius! I'm jealous ;)
This is so darn cool. you definitely are an awesome mom!
You full-on amaze me. You are so creative and fun! If only I could mother like you do!
sorry you were having a down day! hope today and tomorrow and every day for the rest of your life is mucho, mucho better!
How fun! Your kids are extremely lucky.
Lindsay Jane- Thanks you're nice to me. You should come over & jump in it. Though I think I'm taking it down today. Too hard to navigate the stairs! HA! The kids are gonna freak out!
Unas- It was SO fun & made everyone in the house happy.
Susan- Thanks, you're an awesome mom too!
Katie- Yeah, please steal it. Just be prepared to loose a lot of air & maybe have chap lips. SO WORTH IT!
Debbie- Thanks miss. I think it's the way my parents rasied me. They always said, "Only boring people are bored" and I was in charge of my own emotions. It was a tad annoying at the time but I'm grateful for it now!
Rachel- HA! Yeah, 9 months might be a tad young. I even thought, "what if one of my kids suddenly decides to be allergic to latex & here I am throwing them in a pit of it". Turned out okay though!
Em & Russ- That's what I keep saying- come play at my house! I'll come up with all sorts of other fun stuff if you come! We'll eat cake too! Am I tempting you?
Joan- Yes, renting a theater ended up being a great idea! Recommend it to everyone!
Lyric- So easy to do & mucho fun!
Stephanie- Oh gosh, you are nice to me. It really was for me too.
Anelieze- Yes, the rest of that day & every day after has been MUCH better!
LOVE IT!! I am amazed that the balloons didn't pop when you all jumped on them.
What a fun mommy you are!
