So, I need some help... Does anyone have any advice on how to make my girl faux-hawk? I think they are HOT & mine are always short and don't really look right. So, any advice would be welcome!
P.S. Rob is just the cutest baby around- we're in matchy-matchy hoodies! I love this little guy... what a heart-breaker!

i hear you, i wish i could help, but i was never very good at doing that with my hair... I think i remember es doing a good job
I have never REALLY tried a girl faux hawk because my face is so round however I have observed many a very talented girl create a cute do using some teasing (ratting, back combing, etc) and hair spray. They usually tease the back of the hawk, spray the teased part, and then use a boar bristle brush (the kind with lots of bristles that smooths really well...often found in round brushes) to smooth the front. Then they secure it using 2 criss-crossed bobby pins. It seems like the secret is really good, dense teasing.
I second what Linds said - lots of teasing and LOTS of hairspray!! I can help you try one one day...
