Things have been busy, busy the past couple days- Ah, I love the holidays! But most of my sewing has to wait until after the kiddos are off the bed. Syd seems to think that pins & scissors are her new favorite toys. And I realized that I am maybe not the best at following a pattern so it's taking me a bit longer than I expected to even get a third of the way through one project- Ah darn!

Sounds like me these days...all my projects are taking forever because I'm making up crap instead of using a pattern. Question: do you have a rotary cutter and mat to cut your fabric? If so, what is the best kind? I totally want one because cutting straight lines in fabric is my least favorite thing.
