So, Sydney LOVES baths. She would spend all day in the bath if I'd let her. It used to be impossible to get her out without kicking & screaming. So, (smart mommy that I am) decided that once it was getting close to time for her to get out I'd pull the plug & the water would slowly drain out. Then she didn't want to be in the tub without water. This has been working for months now.
Until recently.... now, my little genius daughter learned that if she sits on the drain it stops the water from draining. Now, she kicks & screams while I try pulling her off the drain & out of the tub. What happened to the good ol' days when kids were afraid of the drains? (I know I was) Anyway, I am reminded daily just how smart she is & that when she is a teenager I'm going to have to lock her in a steal door room with no windows (no doubt she'll find a way out otherwise)

When I was little, I stuffed a wash cloth in the drain when my parents pulled the plug.
Maybe her love of water will make her an Olympic swimming gold medalist -- as long as there are duckies in the pool.
Dang! She is smart! Why doesn't the drain grate her bum? I remember thinking it was so paindful to sit on the drain...
