Pepper Jelly Recipe

This is a Carter family classic & it's oh-so-good! It sounds weird, I was skeptical at first but this is some yummy stuff! Our favorite is putting it over cream cheese & eating it will crackers. If you want to try it out first before making a batch, come by the Carter house- we'd love to share!

1/4 cup JalapeƱos (3 or 4 little ones)
- grind with seed in blender

3/4 cup red bell peppers with out seeds
-grind with JalapeƱos

Add the blended peppers in sauce pan with...
6 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 foil package of liquid pepkin
MIX & BOIL for 3 minutes (stirring constantly
REMOVE & Sit for 4 minutes

POUR into boiled & sanitized jelly jars & SEAL

Forget the cream cheese. Put it on hot biscuits and you'll be in heaven.
