I was listening to NPR the other day & heard a review of this book, Foolishly Forgotten Americans
It's a collection of short biographies (& by short I mean 2-3 pages- I'm left wanting even more) on various colorful individuals who have slipped through the cracks of American history. I happen to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE American History so if you are interested like I am pick up a copy & let me know what you think.
