... they are working on a neat underwater hotel somewhere (I've heard Istanbul, Fiji, or Dubai). How neat is that! Scott LOVES salty ocean fish aquariums- someday we will probably have one in our house. He'd love to go to a place like this (though the idea of sleeping underwater scares me a little)- They have a neat website too!

It's in Fiji. The ocean is really too shallow in Istanbul.

Can we come too? That place is gorgeous! And once Scott is a doctor he can pay the $15,000 per person charge. Just petty cash, right.

Actually, they're building it in Dubai. I read about it a year or so ago, when the plans had been drawn up/approved but they hadn't started construction yet. They're always trying to push the limits of architecture and engineering in Dubai--remember it's the Emirates that have built islands in the shape of palm trees and the world in the Persian Gulf.
