When my milk dried up with Sydney I went around looking for a bottle that I could quickly ween her onto. Nothing seemed quite right- My theory was to find a bottle that looked like what she was used to (me)- get the picture?
Now that Rob is getting up there in months, I'm getting ready to ween him. While reading Tutus & Turtles today, I saw these bottles- they seem a bit more like that I'm looking for (though a little space age-ish looking).

I LOVE these bottles...they will be what I use when I have babies. I found them a while ago and read all about them and believe them to be the perfect bottle. They look ahem, like me, you fill them from the bottom (hello, no formula crumbs in the nipple) and have a huge lid that will stay put on a table. I support you 100% in choosing them. My second choice are these: http://www.gerber.com/prodcat?catid=439
Very traditional which is why I like them.
haha i love your blog you always keep me amused.
Those are SO cool! I want to get those for my next baby!

Those look a lot like... you know. Neato. Good luck with the weaning!! I think it'll go better than you think! Rob is such an easy going baby I'm sure it will go well!!!
Are these bottles non BPA plastic or whatever that whole issue is? Annoying, btw. You have to change everything you own for your child if you choose to jump on the bandwagon.
