Some days you just need a 32 oz Dr. Pepper to get you through the rest of the day. That is where Crest gas stations are my best friend. They have a drive-through & for a dollar & a lil' change you got yourself a HUGE soda (& let's be honest soda tastes better on tap then it does from the bottle). AND you don't even need to get out of the car!

i go to the crest gas station everyday and get a 32 oz DR PEPPER! i live off it. The Maverick is closer to my house but the drive through, come on. i love you appreciate this as much as i do.
I feel the same way about a coke. Too bad they don't have a crest (that I know of) in Savannah.
Our McDonalds has 99 cent 42oz sodas! And they have DIET Dr. Pepper, which makes me feel like I'm not being quite so bad. Love it so much. Also, I hit Sonic every once a while during Happy Hour and get a huge Diet Dr.Pepper with cherry flavoring - yum!

haha, when I commented on your sucker post the other day about my mom getting a dr pepper, she also only went to the gas station with the drive through. reading your blog has been like reliving my childhood. jk, thats a little dramatic. I guess I'll have to find a gas station with a drive through when i have kids, it seems to dominate my family.
That's great and all, but your picture is taken outside of your car. Did you just buy the soda and then get out and take the picture? Kind of a waste of a drive thru eh?
Aaaa... but Russ... what you don't understand is that I had the luxury of NOT taking the my 2 children out of the car & carry them into the store to get my soda.
Instead I could drive thru get my soda & hop out to take pics. While leaving the kids in the car. GENIUS that's all I'm saying!

I can't tell you how many times I have wanted a soda when I get gas but haven't gotten one because I don't want to get the kids out. Truly genius.
Oh my gosh Oliva!! I TOTALLY miss drive through gas stations! Seriously, I was just thinking about that the other day (they don't have those here.. :( And I NEED one! It's just not the same going to fast food and getting a drink - it's too expensive! And I agree with you, soda HAS to be on ice - I don't like it from the bottle either.
Man I miss you guys! When are you taking a trip to Paradise!?
