What was I doing this morning?

Was I playing with my beautiful babies?
Was I cleaning our desperately dirty car?
Was I baking some fabulous dessert?

Alas, none of these worth while activities were in the cards for me. No, this is what I was up to...Still not sure? Well, here's another hint...
Yes, I was at Urgent Care getting stitches. I'll spare you all "gross out" pictures of the actual wound. Just know it was REALLY scary looking.

Last night picked up a frame with broken glass in it. A HUGE ol' piece dropped out & slashed across my leg. It was hardly bleeding but when I took a closer look I was like, "Oh heck, that thing is deep!" like SCARY deep. And thank goodness for Scott because if it had been one of the babies or him I'd be fine- But myself... it's like, "Naw, It's all good. I'll just faint".

So, by morning Scott assessed that I did in fact needed stitches. You are all witnesses to my first "injury" stitches EVER. I've had surgery ones but they don't seem nearly as rad.

3 hours later (thank heavens for my best friend Esther for watching my beastly babies) I have 8 stitches & some nice wrapping on my calf.

I feel so, so angry at you. You should have called me so I could hold your hand in your time of need.

Yikes! I'm glad I was able to watch the kiddos which by the way are not beastly it's the combo of the 3 of them needing a nap which can get kind of beastly but I love your kids like my own! :) Anytime my friend! I hope your leg is feeling better!

Olivia, you are just too cool and I honestly want to be just like you! I wish we lived close by so I could see your battle wounds. EC
