My friend Lay called us tonight to see if we wanted to go to an early Inauguration Ball for Obama. We are the type of people to pick up & jump at the opportunity to go to a semi-formal party with no notice!
It was so much fun! There was a limo to pick us up at a separate parking lot & drive us out to gallery where it took place. There was a fab jazz band, fun drinks, & good company.
Anyone have any celebratory plans for tomorrow? Wait till you see what the Carter family is doing (no we won't be in DC- I wish!)
