I saw this activity, & thought we'd try it out today & see how it turned out.
It's basically 2TBS of Corn Starch & 2TBS of water plus a couple drops of food coloring.
It ended up being a lot of fun. It looks like regular paint when you put it down, but after it dries it turns into a pretty chalk painting.

that sounds excellent becuase I HATE the sound and feeling of writing with sidewalk chalk... perhaps matt and I will have to 'chalk' someone!
Oh we may have to try this! My kids would love it. Heck I would love it.

Okay, SO LOTS of questions... the paint just dried & then just BRUSHED off my jeans that I was wearing.
Then it has both worn off the sidewalk (like chalk does) and it washes off with water.
I haven't seen a stain anywhere on Syd's clothes & the neighbor little girl spilled it all over herself. Her mom said it came right off.
