We went up to SLC to check on Rob's hip at the amazing Pediatric Orthopedic Doctors up there. This time they said he was good & they wouldn't need to see him again. Woo-hoo!
However, the kids were crazy people. I've mentioned my dislike of taking people out of the "toy & magazine filled waiting room" & making them wait FOREVER in the empty exam room. It was bad!
But on my way out, I gave encouraging words to another mother wrestling with a baby that looked just like mine did...
I told her it would get better & that soon enough her baby would be running like Rob. Basically, a drunk crazy person- hope that was encouraging.

That was awesome. Does Rob still do the leg kick thing when he throws something? Obviously you would want to find that out while he was hiding your phone. That was a fun video. You have such cute kids.
Congratulations on Rob’s clean bill of health. Rob is definitely a little cutie. The kids look pretty normal to me in the waiting room. Ron was mister mom and he stayed home while I worked in the early days. When Kenny was 2 years old, Ron took Kenny with him to his doctor’s appointment. The doctor was so flustered at seeing Kenny running around in his office that he refused to see Ron. Instead, he had Ron make a Saturday appointment when I would be home to care for Kenny. When Ron went to his Saturday appointment, he found out that the office was closed and that they didn’t have Saturday appointments. That was the first and last time Ron ever saw that doctor. The worst part about it was when they tried to bill us for the day Ron and Kenny was in the office. We refused to pay the bill. Needless to say, they tried to send the matter to collection. When we told our side of the story, they backed off and never bothered us again. Ron thought we should have back billed them for his time and trouble.
YEAH for Rob! It must be nice to know you don't have to make those trips anymore!! :)
I always wonder why they have those cupboards. My kids love to play in them too and kindly enough the drs office keeps 'em empty probably just for that reason. Cute cute kiddos. Yeah for Robs good news!
I love his jaunty little run. He is a happy boy. Loved the song too!
That was hilarious - soon he'll be running like Rob... ahhh.... no I seriously believe we have a responsibility to help others who are going through trials we've experienced and that mother probably desperately needed to hear your words of encouragement!!! good job saying something!
That is so good! I know the pain of those doctors appointments. I had to take Nolan to a Infectious Disease specialist at the medical school in Richmond. I would be in the waiting room and they would happily be playing with toys, reading books, and watching movies. Then they would put us in a room for everything from 1-2 hours!!! It used to be a hospital so some of the rooms were small (single occupancy rooms) and some were big (used to be double occupancy) so i would put the kids on the doctors rollie chair and we would race around the room and I would spin them around and what-not. I was so happy when that was all over. Gosh... I waisted days in that room! I am glad he is better!
