We arrived safe in Portland (at 4 am-bleh) and slept in. Then we went to this great duck park. The kids are having a blast!
At the park, there was a pink VooDoo doughnut truck parked there. (Has anyone heard of this place?)
They have lots of really sweet doughnuts. We ended up sharing a maple bar with bacon on it. Sounds sick, huh? Oh, but it was lovely!

Well, maple-flavored bacon you get from the store is tasty, and so is bacon dipped in the maple syrup running off of pancakes on the same plate, so I can imagine that a maple donut with bacon on top would be delightful, even if it sounds weird. Have fun in Portland!!

After having bacon and eggs ice cream at SPARK I've decided I like anything with bacon involved. I'm certain I'd like that donut. Maybe you should bring me one? Maybe, is that right?
