Silly Show = Big Mess

Feeling sick Scott went to bed at 7:45 last night. After everyone was asleep I was looking for something to watch.

On Hulu I saw "10 Things I Hate About You" the TV show. I've had never heard of it so I tried it out.

Oh goodness, it's a silly, ridiculous little show. And I really liked it, literally watching 6 episodes of it last night.

Around episode #3 Scott came down for some medicine & asked for some hot lemon honey water. Trying to be a nice wife I put some on the stove then came back to watch the show.

Around the middle of episode #5 he asked, "hey, did you end up making that drink?" I literally jumped out of the chair & ran to the stove.

..................Because of this:.................................... I got this:...............................

I'm still trying to clean out a pot I left on the stove. I was making some syrup for the hummingbird feeder, and forgot that I left the pot on the stove. Went downstairs, and an hour later your dad says, "Are you cooking something?" The water had evaporated, the sugar had caramelized then burnt, filling the little pot to the top with a black rock of burnt sugar; the upstairs was filled with smoke. Smelled like caramel candy in our apartment for a week.

Oh no!! I think something like that has happened to everyone at least once. I hope you were able to salvage the pan.

I have to set my timer several times a day to remind me of what I'm supposed to be doing. Of all of the things that I seem to be losing as I get older, I miss my mind the most.

How funny. I love that movie, I've never heard of the show. Maybe I'll have to try out an episode. Oh no your poor pan. My hubby was making hard boiled eggs once and did the same thing. It smelled nasty.
