Bold Wall Colors

I went through my picture folder called "home design"- just a collection of pictures I've found & wanted to keep for when we own a home someday.

I noticed that along with my "bold colors for arm chairs" I might have something for bold colored walls...

I apologize that I have no idea where these pictures are from. If you know, PLEASE leave a comment so that I can attribute them.

After almost 9 years of white walls I want something big and bright and bold too. I'm just not sure I'll be brave enough. Yes. Yes I will, cause I can always repaint it right? Haha.

I know the bottom right one with the circles on the wall is one Linds sent me - they did it originally on Design Sponge and also Bloom posted it too. I know because I want to do it in my baby's room!

Such fun ideas! Can't wait to see what you do when you have a house to mess around with.

Debbie- I know EXACTLY how you feel. Our last 2 places have been white walls & before that it was wood paneling. I can't wait for GREEN!

Tara- Thanks! And that'd be SO cute on Darci's wall- love it.

Esther- I know... if ever!

After we find our tree bookcase, you can come over and talk me through painting at least one wall a vibrant (and by that I mean non-white) color! I'm a timid painter.

I love these, but guess what...I just painted my room...beige & white. How boring is that! But now I am going to decorate with wild colored pillows etc. Hope it will be as nice as I visualize it. If not...I will repaint. Thank heavens paint is only $24.00 a gallon. Cheapest decorating item in the world.

Monica- I seriously might- I love all of them!

Dawn- that would be so much fun. Come this summer (maybe sooner) I'm so having Scott make me that bookcase & I'll totally talk you through the color thing. SO FUN!

April- I know, but you do such amazing colors in your house. My favorite was the pumpkin wall one. So pretty. And I'll bet your room is going to look fabulous.

I have been trying to talk Chad into painting our bedroom orange. We go for a lot of color in our house, but they tend to be muted and more traditional colors. In other words, we are chickens. I would love to do a room like that green one with the white chair (the room that looks like it is straight from Ikea) but I it would totally clash with the rest of my house.

Katie- I love the bold colors too but worry when it comes down too it I'll chicken out! And that room is totally an Ikea room (I recognize the fabric from Ikea). Such a great color!
