Halloween Storytime

The good ol' Provo Library has a great Halloween storytime the week before Halloween. The kiddo's costumes still aren't done (though I worked on Syd's for a bit last night).

So, here's our 4th "made-up" Halloween costumes of the season...

Can you tell what they are? (A ballerina & a cowboy) Both had a blast in these outfits too.

Storytime is just a blast. They tell Halloween stories, sing songs & have a little parade. This year they didn't do the dancing (for which I was greatly dissappointed- check out last years fun) but the kids still had fun together!

It was so nice to meet Esther! She seems really sweet! We should get together more often!

Ummmm, your "made-up" costumes are superior to my kids' regular costumes!

So, um, Matt and I wonder why you are even making them costumes, since it seems like you have a gazillion on hand!

Thanks a bunch for always commenting on my posts! You are just about the only one... man, I live in china and I'm still not interesting enough to comment on. You make my heart feel better.

let me know how you like movie. we've watched it twice {or rather, skipped through it to our favorite parts} since then and we still laugh our heads off...yea, that 'jack' efron is a cutie, no matter how much younger he is ;P

Susan- she really is nice & we will definitely need to hang out again.

Ashley- we're lucky to have a very cool dress up box. It's one of our favorite activities.

Kristal- I'm making their costumes because they want to be Tinkerbell and Spiderman. So, that's what I'm doing. It's fun for me too.

April- Yeah, I search around to find the fun stuff to do. I'm glad they have stuff like this for the kiddos.

Anelieze- I do try to do more in the community. Now that it looks like I'll be here for a while, I try to be involved. And The costumes are just so much fun.

I didn't get to watch 17 again last night but tonight I think might be the night!

Debbie- I know- it's the best, we should go together sometime!

Cindy- We actually have A LOT of dress ups. I've asked for them for Christmas & collected them when they are on sale. it's a FAV of ours for playtime.

I'll bet your kids are having more fun with their multiple costumes than they would wearing their actual costumes multiple times. My nephews love dress up. Yesterday they asked me what costumes I had in my dress-up drawer and were astonished when I said I didn't have a dress-up drawer. Then they wanted to know where I kept all my dress-up clothes. Hee hee.
