Jacob's long hair

Alright, one more New Moon post (come on, it was a great weekend, I can't help it!)

Am I the only person on the planet that doesn't mind Jacob's long hair?

Don't get me wrong, I way, way, WAY (times 1,000) prefer his short hair, but I've heard & read quite a few comments that his long hair is "Ewww!".

Am I alone? Anyone out there at least "okay"-ish with the long hair?

P.S. Results from the Ed vs. Jake poll. Not surprised Edward won, but I was actually impressed by how close it was the whole time (thanks for humoring me guys!)

P.S.S. Remember to sign up for the giveaway below!

I didn't think the hair was eeeww gross, although I did think he should've pulled it back into a pony tail at least once.

Maybe I'm overthinking and/or missing something (haven't read the books yet and all), but shouldn't he have kept his hair because of his heritage?

Yeah, ponytail would've been good... I thought it was pretty bad....

the long hair was 'ewww' but i think it could have been less 'ewww' if he had it slicked back into a ponytail, like it always said in the book. Or did i imagine that part in the books?
either way, i'm team emmett. yes please.

Smithy- I think you are right, it was down a lot. I ponytail would have been more realistic.

James- Yeah, in the books he cuts his hair when he turns into a wolf so that his wolf hair is short. In the 3rd book he starts to grow it out & when he's a wolf he's all shaggy.

Es- HA! Yeah, I think most people thought... ugh... it was bad. Definitely I'm a short hair fan though.

Cat- I think you are right. I imagined it not quite that long (like maybe shoulder length) and in a pony tail. Team Emmett? Really? I like it! He is the most fun.

still havnt seen the movie so i cant peak to much at your blog these days...but i did catch the line about his long hair...and i do NOT mind it one bit. i think that native americans can have long hair...but ohhhh that short hair....delicious.

I liked it. I love Jacob, short or long hair. Doesn't matter to me. PS. watching New Moon made me switch sides completely. :)

I know Native Americans and their hair isn't frizzy like that! It's very shiny and straight. It's not that his hair is long, it's that it isn't healthy. And why is it half-pulled back? It makes it look too feminine. Okay, that's enough complaining :)

I love the long hair!!! The short hair is great too. The long hair was much better in New Moon than in Twilight.

Lindsey- Go see it! I'll bet you'll love it.

Monica- HA! I promise that'll be the last post. I'm a little NewMoon-ed out.

Kylie- Yes, long hair or short hair! Hooray for switching sides!

Autumn- I see where you are coming from, for sure. It was totally a wig so not as nice as his hair would have been. And the "sides up" thing was a tad girlie.

Zaugg Family- YES! It was MUCH better than Twilight!

Ok it wasn't awful but honestly I think it really only worked because of the ethnicity thing. Cause generally I dont dig the long hair. But for example it worked on Laurent also but really not on the Volturi. But I think because we got to see the long vs short on Jake-y poo I'm a short hair lover all the way.

Debbie- Yeah, I think you're right. I'm not a long hair fan. And you're right. Seeing it short from being long made the short even better!

In Twilight it was hideous to me...but in NM the hair/make-up people pulled it off. I think it had a lot to do with budget. Better wigs cost more money, right?
I also like how they pulled it back to keep it out of his face.

Did not like the long hair one bit... he's just a different person with short hair!
