So, NaNoWriMo is in full swing. I went last night & wrote at the library. Then went to Barnes&Noble, wrote some more, & then rewarded myself with a yum hot coco.
I wasn't sure about it at first, but I love the NaNo website. They have a handy way to track your word count.
According to the graph I have about 4,000 words to write tonight. Luckily Scott has a "guys night out" tonight so once the kids are in bed I'm writing (& tomorrow morning I'm going to have a little writing marathon at the library) Wish me luck!

So exciting!!
hey, i've been too busy to blog lately but i did read your 'confession' post--way to go!
what a hard thing to keep secret for so long :) i know i wouldn't be able to...it's so fun to write and just 'let it out' sometimes, isn't it?
i am writing, too, but nothing like what you're doing. luck and i wish you all the inspiration you need to keep up your goal!
Good luck!
I gave a shout out to you in my column that comes out on Thursday.
Smithy- I'm totally falling behind with being sick. UGH.
M- It is & it's turning out to be a lot of fun too!
anelieze- It was hard. Especially since it was such a big part of what I did each day & for months. But it's out there now!
Aunt Linda- Thanks so much!
Dawn- Oooooo! That's terribly exciting! Let me know what the link is!
I'm 6,000 words in, only 8,000 behind my daily word count goal, BUT I didn't officially start until the 5th, so I think I am doing okay.
I hope you get better soon!
Cat- I added you as a friend! Hooray for NaNo!
Good luck. I'm sooo jealous. I really really wanted to participate this year. I've been looking forward to it for 2 years. Alas it's next year for me.
Way to go Liv you can do it!!!
Debbie- Thanks! Being sick has put me MAJOR behind but I'm working at it.
So how come you have to keep up to a certain word count? Do you have a deadline? How did you do?
Cindy- It just helps you so that you spread it out over the month. I still have until the 30th. So, I'm trudging along slowly.
