Currently, I am re-reading New Moon in anticipation of the movie coming out (and because I don't have any books to read right now. Any recommendations?)
I know a lot of people didn't like New Moon, but I actually really liked it a lot.
And, hey, has anyone listened to the soundtrack yet? What do you think?
My opinion: brilliantly indy, but a tad mellow for my taste. However, I think it'll fit the movie perfect.

New Moon is what really got me hooked on the series.
I am currently reading Graceling by Kristen Cashore. Have you read it? If not, you should! I am having a hard time putting it down at night and going to sleep.
I loved new moon too! I'm re-reading it as well... it's been far too long!
I have LOTS of great book suggestions that will not only entertain you but push you towards being a better writer as well (per your previous confessional post). (Not that you are a bad writer at all; simply that these books showcase what really good writing is, thus they make any writer aspire to write better.) Here's the short list; there's more where these came from:
1. One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
2. Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See
3. Bel Canto by Ann Patchett
4. The Maisie Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear (there are 4 or 5 in the series now, I think)
5. The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith (I think 8 now in the series) (these are clever and light-hearted, take place in Botswana)
I'm re-reading it too! And I am liking it way more the second time around and I think it is going to be an awesome movie. Have you read Hunger Games? I just finished reading book one and I'm waiting for my sister-in-law to give me the second book in the series. It was an awesome book and I can't wait to read the next one.
Katie- I'm so glad I'm not the only New Moon fan. And I'm actually listening to Graceling on audiobook right now. SO GOOD!
Cindy- Hooray! We'll have to disscuss it on our second reading of it.
M- I love the Ladies detective Agency books. I've read the first 3. So good. Thanks for the suggestions!
Em- Oh, Hunger Games is SOOOO good! And I loved the 2nd one too- we should talk about it when you finish it.
My books are all too serious. Undaunted by Gerald Lund ( great history with romance), Ladies of the Silk..china's silk workers, The soloist, The Invisible Wall...see I am into social and historical books.
April- I like serious books too. I just don't mind vegging out when reading too.
Susan- I know it's great isn't it? It's one of my favs.
