New Pack of Sharpie's

Things you may not know about me:

I inexplicably love a new pack of multicolored Sharpie's.

I haven't had a new one in FOREVER. Yesterday I bought a pack.

Photoshop & the printer are on the fritz so I decided to use them to decorate my CD mix's (sorry peeps they are slow to get out!)

I like to call this mix, "Contrary to popular belief Gnomes know how to party..." But it's a bit of a mouthful.

Any other Sharpie lovers out there? What do you guys love in afresh new pack?

I love to decorate Easter Eggs with them. Colin is nuts about Sharpies. I have to hide them from him.

Pretty much the coolest thing of all time. Remind me to tell you what Sharpies make me remember the next time I see you.

Caution on Sharpies and CDs: Years ago I used a Sharpie to write on a CD and the ink literally went all the way through. You could see it faintly on the back of the CD -- which made it so that the CD was unusable. I hope your Sharpies say CD safe on the package (most do now).

Katie- Easter eggs! Love that idea! My kids also will search the house for them.

Royal Fam- I know. It's like limitless things you can do with them.

Susan- Great... now I better see you soon or I'll just keep thinking "what could Susan be reminded of when she sees Sharpies?"

Mike- Oh that's intesting! I wouldn't have even thought of that. I did draw the pic on the paper the sticker was on though. So I'm safe. But that's good to know.

Monica- I know what you mean, colored pencils, crayons, paints, you name it... if it comes multi-colored I probably want it.

oh goodness yes! I love sharpies so much... but I'm too much of a cheap skate to ever justify buying a pack of them. Once my mom got a huge one from sams, and it was fun.

Smithy- yes it's me.

Kristal- Un-cheapskate yourself for these. They're magical!

Lexylou- I know just what you mean! Funny we probably bought them on the same day. Separated at birth?

HotPants- Thanks for stopping by. Love your blog too!

Whitney- When I really look at it, it's almost always the little things that make me happy. Thank goodness it's not just BMW's or we'd be in big trouble.

Audra- I got your email, I'll email back!

Late-ish reply to Monica - Not sure if you meant me. In the experience I wrote about above, I'd written with a Sharpie directly on the CD, on the front of the CD, and the ink (most Sharpie inks are made with a solvent) seeped right through the silver CD media and came out the back, ruining it.

I have a new set of sharpies sitting on my desk as we speak! I haven't done anything with them yet. I love the little gnome on your cd mix!!

I love the whole set of colored sharpies but when it comes to buying them I ask myself what I'll do with them and put them back down... I'd have to seriously hide them from the kids too...
