Elaine's French Bakery Orem, UT

I stopped by Elaine's French Bakery today (to pick up a lil' day-before-your-birthday treat for Scott). It's kind of an eyesore outside: in a not-so-great area of State Street & next to a Big-N-Tall.

Inside it's cute with all the goodies lined up in glass cases & the guy who helped me out was over-the-top with his "Bonjour!", "Oui, Oui", & "Merci beaucoup!". It definitely made me laugh.

I bought Scott something called a Raspberry Charlotte & I shared a fruit tart with Syd & Rob. It was divine.

They also had lovely eclairs, cheesecakes, quiches, & fresh breads. I recommend looking past the maybe not so lovely exterior & weird location to try some lovely French sweets.

I can attest to the yumminess of that place, I used to love to go there when I needed a treat. And those guys will really speak french with you if you want to practice. By the way, this is Sarah Svetz (Robinson), I don't think you know me, I'm a friend of the Carters...I love your blog :)
