REVIEW: Pancake & Sausage on a Stick

I was at the store, having one of those days & I stumbled across a box proclaiming Pancake & Sausage on a Stick.

My first thought was "Ewww... gross!" but by that point my curiosity was peaked (I do this a lot with weird foods remember canned Mac & Cheese?)

We were already planning on having breakfast for dinner anyway so I bought the box. Straight out of the freezer it's a mere 60 seconds in the microwave until it's ready for consumption.

At first Syd & Rob couldn't figure out what this strange new food was. (I have a passionate dislike for corn dogs so we don't eat them. Never. Ever.) So they began by licking them like popsicle or some sort of sucker.

After explaining, they dug into the food MUCH less apprehensively than Scott & I. But once we both took a bite our eyes locked across the table as we both gluttonously admitted, "These are really good".
I may or may not have even dipped mine in hot syrup. Utterly & ridiculously good.

Now Pancake & Sausage on a Stick has a special place in my heart.

Literally.

Probably somewhere near my ventricular artery.

it seems like a passionate dislike for corndogs would prevent a person from considering these. how different can they be from corndogs!?

Stephanie- I should have explained that better. It's not corndogs on principle. It's my dislike of corn bread and most hotdogs. :)

I've seen these at the store. I'll have to get some.

A) those look disgusting but I bet I'd like them. B) literally have a place in your heart? That's funny. I might even use that line myself.

Rae is dying to try these! Every time we are at Walmart she points them out to me. She said "those look like way better corndogs!" She hates corn dogs too, but I LOVE them. And I love pancakes and sausage and mixing them all together with syrup, so I really should try these.

Mmmm, love corndogs. I should never ever admit this, but when I was pregnant with Colin I craved them so bad that I ate them every day for a week. I rarely let me kids eat them, just as I rarely let them eat hot-dogs, but so yummy.

I have never tried these but I am sure they would be delicious. How could they not be? And I would definitely dip them in syrup.

We enjoy these periodically....try adding sausage to your pancake batter (ground, cooked sausage)...delish!

This is one of the few ready made breakfast foods James will eat (since he doesn't like eggs). Pretty yummy. There's a bize size (no stick) version, too.

Emma loves these! She calls them "Hossage on a stick." She will actually eat corndogs cause we call them Hossage on a stick. I have been known to take them when I need something on the run for breakfast. I like them. Well done.

Those sound amazing, actually! When I was pregnant I discovered that I loved corndogs... ha ha. But, sadly, these are probably not gluten free... :( Ez and I would scarf them up, I bet... So maybe it's a good thing! ha ha.

This post was hilarious! Love it!
