A BEDTIME STORY by Sydney

The story Syd told Scott the other night before she went to bed:

"Once upon a time there were 3 kids, Robby, Robert, & Sydney.
And there were monsters in their house so they called the police.
Then a guy came to the door.
He had a white face, and a white nose, and green and yellow teeth.
And then he said, "You called the wrong police" (insert Syd's creepy voice).
The End."

Umm... dude, that's totally scary. I think she might be the next Steven King.

Seriously though, What's going on in that kids head?

P.S. Sad I didn't get to tape this story but enjoy her last frightening tale here.

No wonder she loves the kitty song so much. She writes better than most tv shows.

Ha, she sounds just like I was at that age, and yes my chosen genre is horror. Mwahahaha. That story is weird but still a bit cute. x

I had to share that with my friend who is one of the core volunteers for ScreamFest (a horror film festival in LA). She was very, very impressed. Really though, who wouldn't be? It's a really scary story!!

HAHAHA!!! We about died laughing in this post. So cool you're recording all the crazy stuff your kids say! My siblings and I always loved to sit around a hear stories of funny things we said when we were young! I wish we had more!

She is soooo cool! And looks fab in her dress. Mirian has the same one and looks almost as cute as Syd.

I don't think I'll ever understand where kids come up with the things they say.
