Fanastic Room Re-Design by MADE

For those of you who have never been graced with visiting the blog MADE, go now & look. I actually had to kick her off my googlereader for a while because I was getting so jealous of her creativity & mad skillz (so prepare yourself for envy, envy, envy)

Case in point, this lovely redesign of her daughters room.

I know, do you just want to die? Anyway, she's done a couple blogs with specific instructions on how they did it & it is just a little girls dream. Heck, it's a big girls dream.

She has inspired me to talk Scott into doing something more risky when it comes to painting (we're going to try to get some done this weekend) & maybe, maybe do some stripes somewhere.

Infact, everyone comment on how stripes would be the bomb, maybe a little good ol' peer pressure will convince him!

I am glad I am not the only one with major envy! So this is how it goes with Chad and I when we are working on a section of our house: If he were to see this room at Ikea or even someone else's house, he would probably think it was pretty cool. However, if I were to explain it to him as an idea I wanted to do (without him seeing this room)...describing each component, he would think I am crazy and not go for it at all. He has to be able to visualize it. I keep telling him that I want to put mailboxes outside each bedroom upstairs and he thinks I am nuts, but I am totally going to do it.

As a side note, I think that bench under the window is the Ikea bookshelf I have my house, just laying down, which I have always thought is an awesome idea.

I would go insane if I had stripes painted in any room of my house. Way too much for me. The less that has been done to a room, the better for me :) Which is nice, since I'm also lazy and wouldn't get around to painting anyway. Maybe I'll change my mind when we actually live somewhere that I can paint. We'll see.

I love MADE! She is amazing. I have made her hobo sack, and it is super easy. She is just full of ideas. I love that room, it is so cute.
Good luck! Hopefully pictures will follow, so the rest of us can be inspired.
