We're in Newport Beach, CA with Em & Russ for the next few days. I have a horrible cold & I'm still having a blast- that's a serious testament to the awesomeness of this place.

having a cold in southern california is definitely not fun...but it has been exceptionally warm lately so i'm sure the beach weather was perfect!
How could you be sick on vacation?? Well maybe the sun will burn it out of you. Love the photos..we want to be there NOW! Sorry we will miss you. The kids look so cute.

Looks awesome! When we lived in Irvine we went to church next door to the temple. Actually, the temple was in the process of being built when we lived there. We went back a few years later after we had moved away to go see the finished product! I miss our days in Irvine/Newport Beach! Rae was born in Newport Beach - just a few blocks from the ocean. Why oh why do I live in Missouri? :)
Call me crazy but isn't the the SECOND time you've had a really bad cold while you were on vacation this year??? That should earn you a special award or SOMETHING! I'm so sorry. I really hope you get feeling better.
How incredibly lucky are you? Great pictures. Love the ones with the Koi fish and the lifeguard tower.
Im so jealous! I miss the beach sooo much. And that Koi fish pond...brings back memories.
