Belly Plague & Sewing

Sorry, I've been incommunicado. It has been quite the week or so. Our family somehow caught the "Belly Death Plague Stomach Flu".

That's the official name I've given it & I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. No really, it was that bad. I'll spare you details, or photos.

But I've also been busy making Rob & Syd's Halloween costumes (thankfully the most complicated pieces my dad offered to help me with- or I would have given up a few days ago).

Yup, they're going to be Superheroes. The kids have had a thing for superheroes lately.

What are you kiddos being?
Are you guys dressing up this year?

My boys are going as superheroes as well- Batman and Robin. I need to sew their costumes as well, but I have very recently lost my sewing machine's power cord. And when I say lost, I mean my boys have hidden it.

Our kids are being Super Why, Princess Presto, and Alpha Pig. It should be pretty cute (if I get their costumes done in time).

My kiddos are going to be fairies, or if it is too cold for those costumes, Jessie the yodeling cowgirl and a ladybug. We traditionally do two costumes, one for inside and one for outside. I can't wait to see your kiddos pictures!

I'm going as a waitress from Merlotte's on True Blood. My little miss wants to be a 'nice' devil. My little guy is still undecided! Way too many superheros to choose from!

wish we lived closer so we could sew together! I've been in sew mode lately. I'm excited to see their costumes! Matt and I are still undecided on what to dress up as, considering we would only be dressing up to hand out candy.

sorry you guys were sick, thats no good.

Elizabeth and Amelia are going to be ladybugs. I went to Hobby Lobby today and now I'm really excited about their costumes. Jeb is going to be a dragon in a *gasp* store bought costume.

I think my kids are going to be Woody and Little Red Riding Hood. Yes, we're slackers and haven't quite got it figured out yet. I am going to be Sookie Stackhouse. Can't wait!
