Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve we had a "Bethlehem" theme dinner with friends & family. We ate humus, pita, olives, kabobs, dates, & all manner of tasties, then we read the Christmas story.

Christmas we had a busy morning opening presents & the kids loved their "pillow pets" from "Santa" (despite my questionable feelings about spending $20 on a pillow). Enjoy the kids walking out to see the tree Christmas morning:

How was everyone Christmas?
Any BIG hit presents for the kids?
What about you guys?

Elizabeth and Amelia got the bikes they have been asking for since for-EVAH! We took them to the park today and Elizabeth took off riding and didn't stop for almost 4 hours. Amelia wasn't quite ready so she played for about 2 hours then came home with Jeb while Christie stayed and watched Elizabeth ride all over the park and through the water spray... yes, they still had it running down here.

The big hit present wise? The $1 hair brush Santa put in Addie's stocking. She has carried it around non stop. They liked their zhu zhu's and track. Daddy made them doll beds, which turned out great. But the hair brush is what kills me. Guess that is what a 20 month old will like.

Santa brought my kids those expensive Pillow Pets too. Little Man loves his. Little Bit doesn't really care about hers. Little Man is in love with his Nintendo DS. We may have to send him to DS Anonymous. And Little Bit loves her play kitchen. Glad you guys had a great Christmas.

Being awakened by Sydney and Rob on Christmas morning was the best Christmas present ever, even slightly better than the Absolutely Amazing Around the World Root Beer Sampler I got for Christmas.
