I'm a paintin' fool!

So far my week has been overrun with paint buckets & messy brushes!

My fabulous mom-in-law is a master room painter & since she was in town we finally got started on the gray I've been meaning to paint our front rooms.

The first gray we got was too blue & too light, so we took it back to darken it & un-blue-ify it. The paint mixer guy deemed it, "OliviaCarterGray". So behold our custom gray:

Incomplete, but you get the idea. I'm loving it! Don't say you hate it or my aching back & sore knees will kill you while you sleep.

We just have to finish it up, hang up our art, & then it will finally start to feel more "us".

I love it, a good shade of grey. Shame my paint shop won't have "OliviaCarterGray" for my kitchen when it is replaced in 2 years.
Love the colour organised bookcase :)

Wooooot! When you're done, we should have a house warming party to welcome you into your Carterized home. :)

I really LOVE it! I never thought gray would 'brighten' a room, but it's so much better now than that beige wall/ceiling color. Looks awesome!

Looks great! I really like gray walls. Since you are now the expert on painting, you should come up to Yakima, and help me with some painting projects :)

It looks great! Gray is a nice neutral color w/o being boring. Looks very clean and classy.

The guy with the earrings at Provo Home Depot was the Bomb helping with color. But next time...we will get small paint samples. lessons learned. Thank heaven he was able to fix the color. Looks great Liv. Wish I could have helped finish it.

love it, of course. my mom is a master painter too...she is just so quick and good. so she already knows that when she visits in switzerland she will be doing some painting when she comes. the whole downstairs of our house is this awful light light yellow...however it could be worse so im grateful its not worse. BUT i think we would just paint it white when she comes because i dont want to repaint when we try and sell this place in a few years. i dont think the swiss would appreciate a funky colored wall....
thats my story.
my word verification is "frelingi"...kinda like the sound of that.
