Scooby Doo Party

Rob is 4. Seriously, I can't believe it. He's actually been 4 for 10 days but he was at "grandma camp" so we waited to have his party.

We decked the house with Scooby-Doo-ness (Rob's new obsession). It wasn't easy because Scooby isn't quite up there in popularity but I scrounged for months & pulled together a fun party.

Here are the invitations that most people didn't get- sorry about that guys!

For the party, I embraced the "Mystery Machines" colors & went with lime green, orange, & teal. I also printed out a bunch of Scooby pictures & made a banner out of them. Rob thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Rob picked the menu & I named everything after Scooby characters & spookiness. The pictures I grabbed from this site & I actually used the ligit Scooby-Doo font.

We had a cake (thanks you Maceys for having one so I didn't have to make it) & opened presents.

To top off the lovely night we took the kids outside & tie dyed shirts. This was an especially big hit. I can't wait to see how they all turned out.

All in all it was a great day, celebrating the great kid BertoBear!

Past birthdays: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd

I'm bummed I missed it... I was *this* close to attending one of your amazing parties! When I saw Linds after she got home she said the party was really great.

I'm especially bummed I wasn't there for the tie-dying, I've been wanting tie-dyed onesies for Baby Boy.

You did such a great job! I kind want a Scooby-Doo party now just for kicks. The question is . . . would my friends come and be little kids with me or just point and laugh? ;-)

hi! i stumbled onto your blog after looking for some scooby doo ideas! LOVE how everything came out! i have been struggling with finding the "classic" scooby doo font that you used on your invites and was wondering if you could let me know the name of the font or where you found it?
