Highchair Heaven

We bought Lincoln a highchair this weekend &, oh, the joy it brings this sweet baby of mine.

He runs his little car back and forth across its tray.

Then without warning shoves the car in his mouth to suck on it. Then, again, back and forth. Leaving tire tracks of droll everywhere.

He is so completely enthralled and entertained by the simple act of sitting & rolling that car you'd think I'd be able to get something done while he's busy playing.

But I'm so completely enthralled and entertained by watching him, that I sit and laugh soaking up his joy.
