Halloween Costumes 2012

 TA-DA! Carter Children Halloween 2012! 

Rob is a zombie (he switched between the "type" of zombie he wanted to be for months now- 3 headed zombie, mummy zombie, bloody zombie & finally we hit on one yesterday I guess you'd call it business man zombie?)

Sydney is Hermine Granger from Harry Potter. Scott let them watch the first movie a while back & she's smitten. She even has a cauldren from her potions class, a wand, & Crookshanks her cat.

Linc was supposed to be so many different things & in the end we opted for mummy. He has had a massive ear infection that WILL. NOT. GO. AWAY. He's been cranky-pants-non-sleeper for over a week now (mama is going on 5 or less hours of sleep a night. So, you know, I'm about ready to DIE).

You guys, this Halloween kicked my butt. I feel like I've been running around like a mad woman for weeks & weeks. Busy with their costumes but in the end I didn't really do much. I think most of it is I am not getting any sleep. It feels like I'm thrust back into newborn days & my body is shutting down. Let us all pray that this last round of shots to get antibiotics into Linc's body work & clear up this massive puss-filled (yes, I said it because I get to live with the mental image so now you all have to) ear infection.

P.S. I didn't have their costumes together for the church party so instead we threw together the costumes of "fall", a pirate, & Linc was a rain cloud (which is decidedly cooler than the mummy costume but he pooped in the pants & therefore I was unable to create it for tonights trick-or-treating).
