Blankie

I always thought that I could kind of "lead" Sydney to what items I wanted to be her to "cling" to- you know like a certain blankie or bear. I tried SO HARD to get her to want this pink & green quilt that was tied for her at my baby shower. But no... Sydney has decidedly clung to this Care Bear toy doll quilt that was mine in the 80's- not so cute I can not for the life of my change her mind.

Today she wanted to take a bath so we take her in & she screams/cries that she wants her blankie in the bathtub with her. After arguing about it for a few minutes I decided I would show her that if she takes it into the tub then it gets wet & need to go in the dryer. She didn't care- just wanted that blankie in the bath with her NOW- and it did make her awfully happy!
