I love this idea- does anyone know if you are allowed to paint your trashcan? Maybe not... it's probably considered government property or something. But when we have our own house I might be able to justify breaking the law by vandalizing my rubbish bin- something fabulous like these...

Hmmm, now I am curious...I wonder if the trashcan is my property or the property of the private sanitation company that does our neighborhood. It would be awesome to park something like that on my curb every Monday.
When I did custodial at the bookstore, I drew faces on all the vacuums so that they all had their own personalities. It was right before I quit, so I didn't get in trouble, but I heard all the other custodians really liked it.
I totally want to do that now! I'm seriously going to start investigating. I'll let you know if I can figure it out!
