Perhaps a bit overly optimistic fortunes...

Syd & I had Panda Express for lunch today. After we finished we opened & shared our cookie- here's our fortune:
It was nice to hear, if not a little boring. If I were to make fortunes for cookies I'd put some kind of creepy & ominous things. Like:(the last one is a quote from Minority Report- now, that was a good movie!)

I once got a fortune that said, "You need a new wardrobe." I am still insulted.

Lately (like, the last 4 or so years) I've been really disappointed w/ my fortunes. Rather than fortunes, they have been inspirational phrases or observations of my character.

The best was one my sister got at least 10 years ago, "you like chinese food."

Oooooo - that last one's CREEPY...

Panda is yummy! Love your fortunes.... one I got at Rice King the other day said something about an upcoming family reunion being a success... kind of funny! And Minority Report is an awesome movie!

Did your Dad tell you that we found the DC house that Tom Cruise's character lived in in Minority Report? Next time you're here we'll drive by it.

Ugh. Now I want Chinese. We FINALLY have a Panda Express coming to our side of town soon.

Olivia you're so funny :) And we seriously need to be friends... Twilight, Pride and Prejudice, Minority Report all my FAVORITES!!! Seriously.

My favorite "fortune" I've read lately was "Listen to your heart and don't be afraid and dance to the beat." I don't think it was a fortune because it was inside a chocolate valentine candy but I liked it nonetheless :)
