RecI've been trying to make different meats for dinner other than chicken & ground beef. So, I found this recipe that uses Italian sausage. It ended up being really filling & yummy!
7 ounces wagon wheel macaroni
12 ounces italian sausage
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 26-ounce jar pasta sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
1/4 tsp black pepper
Cook pasta. Cook sausage, onion, & garlic until sausage is brown. In large bowl mix sauce, 3/4 cup cheese, & pepper. Add sausage mix & pasta. Mix. Add to 2-quart casserole. Bake 375 degrees for 25 min covered. Then uncover & add the rest of the cheese (I add a TON of cheese, more than 1/4 cup) & bake for 5 more min & ENJOY!

What kind of sausage? Ground, links cut into slices?
It's the kind you buy in a pack & I cut into slices (well, 1/4th since I have lil' ones)
You mean you add jimmy grip loads of cheese? ha ha ha.... looks yummy!
This stuff is AMAZING. I couldn't stop eating it.
