First is City of Bones
& City of Ashes (the last book of the Mortal Instrument series comes out in 2009)- these are stories about demons & demon hunters. It got pretty bad reviews on Amazon.com- but I mostly liked this book for two reasons. First, I liked the characters. They each have interesting "back" stories & there's also a series of plot twists- though some of them are pretty predictable.
Second is the dialog. It's too fast & too witty for any real person to think or talk that way. But it makes it fun to read. But it's also on the violent side, if you thought Eclipse was violent, this will be too much for you. I liked these books... not loved them, though. (I do really like the covers. Though, Scott was mocking me for the shirtless guy on the cover of the first one-haha!)

I am officially commenting on these books and my review is al follows: Stephenie Meyer may have ruined every other book ever written. I read the first book RIGHT after going through the Twilight Series again and it was so so for me. A few days later, I was coming down from the addiction to Stephenie Meyer fiction and really liked the second book, and realized that I liked the first one, too. SO, overall, I really liked these books, just be careful not to read them too soon after coming down from Twilight...
