APX (where Scott works IT) just had it's end of the season party (here is the beginning of the season party) & one of the fun things they did was have helicopter rides. Scott & I were able to get on one (since Linds is a big-wig over there) & it was SO NEAT! (note: does my face look a bit manic? It's because I was THAT excitied! AND do I detect a "teeth smile" from Scott? Yes, he liked to THAT much too!)
I've never been on one, but now I can check that off my list of things to do. They let Syd go over & sit in the seat & put on the head phones. Which she thought was kind of scary, but she couldn't stop talking about it afterwards.

How fun! I have always wanted to go on a helicopter. Actually Colin has been asking a lot lately why we never go on them - doesn't get that it is a little more rare than flying on a plane.
